Training at the UAB: “Guidelines for describing visual art”

Audio description in all its forms is included in the program of the Master in Audiovisual Translation (MTAV) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). The technique to put into words the visual images is applicable not only to the cinema, theater or TV, but also in the field of museums to describe works of art. Since the 2007-08 academic year we have given in each edition of the course a session of 3 hours, which incorporates both theory and practice. Here you can see the summary of the session.
